Our Vision

Step 2 - The Meadow

The women A Way Out Ministries served have faced unimaginable trauma and abuse. They have usually been trafficked from place to place, often at a minutes notice being moved from one hotel to another. Most have never experienced stability and a home environment. Chaos has followed the places they have laid their head at night.

Through a generous donation of over 80 acres by the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes, Inc. we will build a rural campus where women can find respite, safety, and personal encounters with the Lord. Given their tumultuous living corridors, Isaiah 32:18 serves as our prayer for this new campus, called The Meadow: “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”

Phase One of our Capital Campaign will increase our capacity to serve 10 additional women and will include building a 10 bedroom, 10 bathroom home, a chapel for prayer and quiet time, and a workspace building where in 2022 we will launch several social enterprise businesses where we can hire the women to work on-site in a trauma-informed environment. Phase Two will include building barns for Christ-centered equine therapy, riding lessons, and horse boarding for revenue-generating income. Women will also be part of A Way Out building a self-sustainable farm where we will harvest crops and raise livestock. Future visions are to have housing and programming for women with children and sex-trafficked minors (two of the hardest populations to place). With over 80 acres we have so much room to build and grow!

The following are the facilities A Way Out will build through our $2,800,000 Phase One Capital Campaign:

Where We Stand

We are grateful to Renaissance Group, Inc. for partnering with us to create the design and fly through renderings that can be viewed below to make our vision come to life! To God be the glory!

We successfully launched and completed a Campaign to install an 8,000 foot parameter fence around our campus. Thank you to every individual, church, and business who contributed to make this possible. Installation was completed by the beginning of the year 2022. Check out the video below to see this great testimony!

Through a partnership with Eight Days of Hope, we are almost complete with the first facility. Pictures and testimonies coming soon. Stay Tuned!

In 2024 we will be launching a 1.3 Campaign where we are asking people, churches, businesses, and foundations, to join us in sponsoring different parts of our main 10-bedroom, 10-bathroom house. There will be opportunities at all giving levels with some having naming rights. Stay Tuned!
